Dr. Nora Colburn is taking over the part-time position. Among the responsibilities of the position are serving as the county tuberculosis clinic physician, reviewing and updating medical standing orders as necessary and direction concerning public health emergency planning. According to a news release, Colburn is currently a physician with Beachwood-based ID Consultants. She received her medical degree and master of public health degree from Case Western Reserve University. Colburn, a Willoughby Hills resident, provides inpatient consultation nurse faculty jobs remote services in Infectious Diseases at Hillcrest Hospital and University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center, according to the release. She also provides outpatient consultation services for general Infectious Diseases and HIV medicine at her Beachwood office. Additionally she serves adjunct faculty for the Podiatric Medical Surgical Residency of University Hospital. “I am honored to serve as the Medical Director of the Lake County General Health District,” Colburn said in a statement.
